Testimonials

Tabitha Freeman, Spencer-Owen Community Schools

“Prior to working with INcompassing Education, we acted as a ‘system of schools’, rather than a ‘school system’.  Now that we have district-wide curriculum maps, our four elementary schools are aligned and equitable. INcompassing Education was able to lead us through a 10-month curriculum mapping process, where our teachers were able to collaborate, share ideas, develop common formative assessments, and learn from each other on a large scale. Through this process we were able to identify our district’s strengths and areas of need. Our teachers are excited to implement their new curriculum maps in 2020-2021.”

Melissa Gill, Assistant Principal, Delphi Community School Corporation

“Education is constantly changing! It is easy to become isolated and stuck. INcompassing Education is cutting edge with current best practice and strategies.  Dianne’s work with many state districts has allowed us to really understand that we are all in this together and everyone is fighting the same battle. Not only does INcompassing Education help determine the instructional gaps and needs of the school to improve practice, but Dianne models and stands in the gap with the school to ensure instructional gains. She works tirelessly to support her schools.”

Robin Mills, Coordinator of Curriculum North Montgomery Community School Corp

“Dianne’s knowledge base of working with many schools in many states under many different kinds of standards is rich and deep.  It brings deep overall understanding of the instructional process and what truly works in education.  She is able to dispel many wrong  perception and attitudes about what effective classroom instruction should be.  [She has the] ability to quickly assess where teachers are and accommodate their needs into every PD session. Dianne has become a professional colleague and friend to our principals and teachers.”

Cris McCoy, Principal Sugar Creek Elementary

“[Working with Dianne] made me feel empowered.  Before the process, I was totally overwhelmed and angry when we received a poor school letter grade.  I wanted to be a strong leader, but didn’t know what that would look like or how to do it.  Through the process, I discovered that when you are overwhelmed, that it’s very hard to make positive change happen.  I learned that being a good leader doesn’t mean doing it all, it means doing it all together.  I learned that I had to trust the process, (after all, we didn’t have much to lose at that point) and those around me.   There were times it was very challenging, but I knew that I had support.  I gained confidence, and feel much more equipped to lead change in a school.”

Brian Johnson, Principal Green Meadows Intermediate

“In August 2013, I was a first-year principal of a struggling, low-performing school.  Our school began working with Dianne that September, and we saw an immediate positive impact on staff and student performance.  Dianne supported us in building a foundation that changed the culture and climate of the school.  Over the past 2.5 years, Dianne has become a part of us and helped our school grow in so many ways.  Through Dianne’s work and support, I have become a more effective school leader and our staff has become a stronger team with a better understanding of what it looks like to provide a high-quality education to all students.  Dianne McKinley is a difference maker!”

Matthew Miller, Principal Tri-Central Elementary

“I would highly recommend Dianne McKinley as an educational consultant for your school.  Dianne was instrumental in leading our school from a letter grade of “D” to a letter grade of “A” in just over a year’s time.  Her knowledge and professionalism is second to none.  Dianne has a wealth of experience, including her work with the Indiana Department of Education.  Her depth of knowledge will enhance your school’s best practices and leadership practices.”
